1. About Alaka
Alaka is the business and brand providing this AI companion service. These Terms apply to your use of the Alaka website, application, and related services.
2. The service
Alaka provides AI-powered conversation and related features such as continuity, memory, file and image analysis, and other capabilities described on the website or in the application. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for deciding whether an output is suitable before relying on it.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity performed through it. You must provide accurate information and must not use Alaka for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activity.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Plus and Pro are recurring monthly subscriptions unless the checkout states otherwise. The price, billing frequency, applicable taxes, and purchase details are shown before payment. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.
5. Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Before purchasing, review these Terms and the Refund Policy. Paddle's current buyer terms and refund policy also apply to the transaction, together with any mandatory consumer rights.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Alaka to facilitate unlawful conduct, fraud, abuse, harassment, unauthorized access, infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights, or attempts to circumvent security or usage limits.
7. Intellectual property
Alaka and its software, branding, interface, and underlying technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain rights in content you provide, subject to the rights needed to operate and provide the service.
8. Availability and changes
Features may change as Alaka develops. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product development.
9. AI output, advice, and disclaimers
Alaka is an AI software service and can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable output. Its responses are not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice or services. You are responsible for evaluating output before relying on it or acting on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alaka disclaims responsibility for decisions, actions, losses, or outcomes arising from reliance on AI-generated output. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
